I have not seen this binding fabric but it is very intriguing. I see that you sew your binding from the back to the front. That is exactly the way I do it. When sewing from the front side I make sure that my bobbin thread matches my backing fabric.

I’m confused. You said 2.5” and 2”… which one is it? To avoid the fussy cutting, matching, and folding, I think I’d rather buy a jelly roll or buying yardage. But thanks for sharing!
